In 2023 Tailwinds of Hope wants to establish a scholarship for a Colorado student obtaining their Private Pilot's License.
We continue to be saddened by the loss of Zachary Michael Capra and we miss him more as each day passes. We are truly blessed by the gracious way Zachary lived his life and how he inspired so many family and friends. This inspiration is unrivaled and we hope there are more individuals like Zachary that can guide us all. It is with that inspiration and zest for life that has motivated family and friends to form a scholarship foundation in his memory. We considered many names that would best represent what we learned from Zachary in his abbreviated time with us. As we all strive to find ways to move forward and find hope for the future we considered Zachary's love of flying and unparalleled ambition to achieve his dream career, these combined inspired the name, Tailwinds of Hope-Zachary Michael Capra Memorial Foundation.
The mission of the foundation is to provide scholarships that support the dreams of hard-working, compassionate and goal oriented young adults. We have a lot of hard work ahead of us to make this foundation successful and live to up to Zachary's inspiration.
